MOVIE NIGHT: "TAKERS" Takes Number 1 Spot at the BOX OFFICE

The new action packed movie "TAKERS" Staring T.I. , Chris Brown,  Idris Elba, Paul Walker, Matt Dillion, Michael Elay, and Jay Hernandez, has taken the #1 Spot at the box office this weekend. The movie brought in $20,512,304 over the weekend beating out the "Last Exorcism". If you have not seen TAKERS you are really missing out.

EVENT FAB: Raven-Symone Attends Picnic In The Park

Over the weekend 24 year old childhood star and triple threat Rave- Symone attended Picnic In the Park, for "Tinker Bell and The Great Fairy Rescue" movie. The event was held at La Cienega Park in Beverly Hills, California. 

The actress voices fairy "Iridessa" in the animated feature and is reportedly working on the fourth movie in the popular children series. (check out event photos below).

Philadelphia Grammy nominee Jazmine Sullivan is now back on the scene with her latest single, "Holding You Down".  Jazmine is preparing for the release of her sophomore album, entitled Love Me Back, which is set to drop on September 28.

FASHION IS A PASSION: Zoe Saldana For Calvin Klein Ad

Zoe seems to be doing well for herself considering that her 1st Ad campaign is with the legendary designer Calvin Klein.  Zoe will promoting Calvin Klein's new underwear line entitled "ENVY. The brand’s latest crop of unmentionables promises to provide “the most minimal coverage for a sleek, sexy look,” as the label said in a statement.

Prison is not stopping Lil Wayne from staying relevant on the music scene.

Young Money artist Shanell came up with a visual conception for Wayne's video ground zero. 

Ground Zero is a track off of Lil Wayne's  Rock album entitled Rebirth Album. The video stars Shanell and was directed by Jessica Hatter. 

Shanell is currently working on her debut album, and Wayne is set to drop an album before releasing from prison in November. 

News: 5 Years After The Devastation of Katrina

Today would have made the 5th year Anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and the disaster that it brought to NEW ORLEANS, LA. 

We just want to take the time to reflect on those who we have lost, and those whose lives were disturbed by this tragic disaster. This is something that will never be forgotten. 

I was just in New Orleans last weekend visiting my family, and even though the spirits of the New Orleans natives are high, there is still remains of what happened 5 years ago. 

I was happy to see that the people of  New Orleans, really know how to pick up and start over on rebuilding home. New Orleans is still a place of lively hood, history, beauty and etc, and these are the things that Katrina couldn't destroy about this Great CITY. 

It's still not to late to help, anything you can do to help someone who has been effected by Katrina, Please Help.

ROCK THE BELL comes to NYC & L-Boogie Graces the stage

This weekend "Rock The Bells" tour came to NYC's Governors Island. Wu Tang Clang and Lauryn Hill Performed this year. Everyone came out to enjoy the show, including: The Carters, Chris Rock, Mary J. Blige, Alicia keys and Swizz Beatz and many more.

One of Music's most respected Female Artist Lauryn Hill has popped back on to the music scene and is in full effect, and no one seems to mind.  During her performance L-Boogie calls out some of her celeb friends to join her on stage . (Take a look at the video and more pics below)
